The story

The 16m Day Cruiser vessel is designed to be an autonomous long-range exploration boat for those who love an exhilarating life at sea. Therefore the larger part of the deck space is dedicated to open-air accommodation.

Up by the controls, a super clean and slick dashboard faces three luxury, shock mitigating seats. All of this, shadowed by the carbon bimini, creates a perfect pilot house to run for miles without getting distracted from the horizon line. Spacious yet safe centre and aft decks feature a shadowed dinette and a large sunbed, comfortably accommodating up to 12 people. Optionally, the folding bulwarks and automatic swimming ladder can be added to create a stunning borderless island for sunbathing and enjoying the seas.

Underneath the exquisite teak deck across the full width of the bow deck lies a cabin with a luxuriously finished interior that can accommodate up to four people. Different layout set-ups are possible, although all would include lavatory with full body height ceilings and complete galley with all the needed equipment onboard. The amount of berths depends on the owner’s preference. With customers from different backgrounds and cultures, great consideration is given to the layout, accessories and materials to best suit different climates and tastes. This allows each owner to personalize their own unique Xtender without sacrificing the performance.

A mirror-finish, lightweight hull is designed to offer a peerless blend of speed, agility and efficiency, all of which combine to ensure an effortless passage wherever you choose to venture. The impressive range of 500 nautical miles at 25 knots allows any owner to search out remote locations in complete privacy. The double turbo-diesel stern drive propels the tender, fully laden, to a top speed of 45 knots. All features are operated by the touch of a button on the tender’s two integrated 15-inch touch screens, including the alarm and engine monitoring systems. For those who live for speed, the vessel can be equipped with a 3-engine set-up.

Every boat is hand-crafted from pre-preg carbon fibre aiming for lightweight and durability. Lightweight construction allows the same boat performance to be achieved with a lighter drivetrain, which continues the aggressive circle of weight saving.

Details

Folding bulkwards

Adding folding bulwarks will transform the boat into a leisure island. Combined with sun-awning and a swimming ladder it will create a sundeck of almost 5 meters wide. Folding bulwarks seamlessly match the surface of the boat and can be actuated manually or automatically depending on the client’s choice.

Optionally the bulwarks can be equipped with the boarding steps, fender hatches and teak decking.

Custom upholstery

The boat comes with a set of comfortable durable cushions finished in polymer fabric. However, you can customize the design to match your taste. Working with the best upholsterers in Holland, Xtenders will make sure the upholstery of choice fits the boat.

Swimming ladder

A number of options are available to provide comfortable and elegant water access. An integrated automatic folding swimming ladder that can be used for boarding and water access, can be integrated into the stern area of the boat. With the custom width up to 1,5m it can hold two people.

Propulsion package

Standard propulsion includes two diesel engines with stern-drives. Xtenders can compose a custom propulsion system to match the client’s performance requirements. The number of engines can be upgraded up to three. Further, you can choose the amount of power and the drive type. Depending on the chosen set-up there will be a number of steering options available.

Custom lighting

The boat comes with a set of standard sound,- and lighting systems onboard. Nevertheless there is a limitless number of options that we can integrate onboard to match the client’s taste and way of boating.

Navigational equipment

Xtenders offers a wide variety of proven products to enhance vessel performance, reliability, safety, and security as a fully integrated navigational system. Working with the best Dutch specialists we are capable of combining this wide range of cutting edge technologies into an easily usable, customizable integrated system to suit your navigation needs.

Custom interior

Interior plays a big part in the vessels styling and value. The boat comes with a multifunctional lightweight interior. However our design team will closely work with you to define the unique layout and finish of the interior that matches you needs and taste. With respect to the vessels structure Xtenders can provide a custom design based on the clients brief that may includes multiple births, sittings, lavatory and galley options.

Household equipment

Optionally the boat can be equipped with the best stainless sanitary equipment from the brands including CEA Design®, Miele® and LED Linear® Carbon.

Carbon finish

The 16m series is manufactured using carbon fiber only and you will feel it immediately after you set the first step onboard. For those clients who cherish the look of clear carbon we have a wide range of carbon accessories including dashboard, handrails and other peripheral equipment that can be finished in clear coat to give your boat an unmistakable look.

Seakeeper 5

The Seakeeper 5 is designed to achieve 70 to 90% roll reduction on boats up to 20 tons, vessels 30-50'. The Seakeeper 5 requires only modest electrical power, has no outside appendages, and can be installed off centerline, if necessary. Its computerized control and vacuum technology make it the first truly practical, and only modern, anti-roll gyro.
